AR7030 to Be Replaced by AR7070

AOR AR7030 Receiver
AOR-UK and their American distributors, Universal Radio, both confirm
that supplies of the AOR AR7030 series of tabletop receivers (Pass****t
2008, pp. 133-135 and RDI White Paper) are becoming depleted. The last
new unit should be sold well before year=92s end, at the current rate.
If you want one, get it while you can.
After that comes the replacement, the AR7070, with its final stage
being DSP based. Too, the display will be larger and the keypad will
be inboard.
ETA should be the first half of 2009. However, with components
sometimes being discontinued before R&D has been completed there=92s no
