On assignment, Eh?

No doubt you will recall the explanation given by himself for his two
month absence from these hallowed halls...and they were quite fanciful
too.  You may have even believed the kilgore...unlikely... but
possible.

Well,folks, I don't know exactly what is going on but I think the
Colonel is trying to suck up and get on my good side...the rascal is
trying to pry info from me so he can initiate his cruel,odious and
crafty plan of running me off this N.G.  I mention this because you,
too, may have gotten an e from himself.  Beware it is a crafty
plan....and we all know how crafty the kilgore can be.....don't we?
Nevertheless I was delighted because I have seen the results of being
on the "bad" side of himself....I think!

The e from the kilgore to yours truly...to wit:

previous correspondence with you except some spurious comments we may
have made on the N.G. which, I assure you, were made either in the
spirit of fun or the heat of anger . I have been appointed the

connected with arms, drugs, beer, rafts, sub-prime mortgages or money
laundering.

It is the product of an over invoiced contract awarded in 2007 by
(INEC) to a foreign company that I was on contract to for a period of
two months which explans my absence from our beloved N.G.for the
supply of electoral materials that were used for conducting April 2007
elections.The contract has long been executed and payment of the
actual contract amount has been made to the foreign contractor leaving
the balance of US$14.5 million which my colleagues and I now want to
transfer out of Nigeria into a reliable foreign account for our
personal use.

As a contract agent we are not allowed to run foreign accounts.Hence
we have chosen to front and sup****t you as the beneficiary to this
fund. If you are interested in the proposal kindly get back to me by
sending me your letter of acceptance along with your direct telephone
and fax numbers, we have decided to share the money in the following
percentage, 64% for us 33% for you the account owner and 10% for all
local and international expenses that may arise in the course of this
transaction.

Further details about this transaction will be discussed in subsequent
correspondence.Note also that the particular nature of your business
is irrelevant to this transaction and this transaction is expected to
be concluded within 10 working days since all local contacts and
arrangements are in place for a smooth and successful conclusion of
