Despite what its shrinking aging demographic may think about more
variety on Radio 2, and less Classical, it is a huge improvement and
was needed to save the station from long term oblivion in revenues.
Radio One and 3 are still great, though i wish Radio 3 was available
not just on satellite radio and Internet.
The CBC has so many great public radio models to look at : french
language Radio-Canada in Quebec, BBC, Radio-France, and ABC Australia,
all of which are infinitely better than the musical station formats
and structures on CBC Radio.
In the meantime, this will do as a start.
